The infant room really enjoyed their trip to Bantry Garda Station and Bantry Fire Station.
We were shown around the Garda station, explored some prison cells and tried the breathalyser (we all passed ;). Our favourite part was the break room, where we enjoyed trying on the different uniforms and eating cookies!
At the fire station, Con and Ger showed us around. We tried on the helmets and sat in a fire truck. They showed us all the tools they need to have on the truck to help in an emergency. Huge thanks to Garda Brigid, Con and Ger for being such wonderful hosts!
We stopped off at Bantry playground for a little while after to have our lunch and a run around. It was a fun and educational experience!
