The Amber Flag committee thought it would be a great idea to do something that would lift everyone's mood and bring a bit of fun to the school day. So, on April 23rd, we held a Rainbow Dress Up Day in aid of Pieta House. The children dressed up in their brightest colours or wore something yellow or orange to represent the Amber Flag. We asked all the students and staff to come into school wearing their brightest coloured clothes and to each bring in €2. Balloons and rainbow bunting adorned the school gates, and the children and staff all made a wonderful effort to dress up for the day. Miss Cotter, gave everyone a rainbow sweet. Thank you for all of your generous donations and we were delighted that we raised €230 from our school for Pieta House.
